ABSTRACT This report describes the manner of converting metadata into a XML and RuleML representation for use in the virtual data integration systems proposed in "Designing, Specifying and Querying Metadata for Virtual Data Integration Systems"ÃÂÃÂ [Bertossi, Jayaraman (2009)]. In the project, a graphical user interface (GUI) was created in the purpose of facilitating this process by the conversion of the metadata, in this case written in prolog, into a format of RuleML that can be used by an existing system proposed in the paper. This paper will present the motivation in creation of this system, the methodology, as well as results of the project. |
