Carleton University - School of Computer Science Undergraduate Honours Project Winter 2011 Worm Propagation over IPv6 Matthew Ng
ABSTRACT Worms can propagate quickly in the wild over an IPv4 environment with many methods of propagation. How will they propagate in the new IPv6 environment with the new changes being implemented? Taking a look at current research, the changes being made into IPv6, tools that could be used to protect yourself, and first hand experience at trying to recreate some of those propagation methods there is a way to determine how worms could react or be developed for the IPv6 network. |
