ABSTRACT Serious Level Designer is a dynamic level designer which allows game developers to collaboratively create levels for 2D video games. The two main innovative features of Serious Level Designer are collaboration and plugin support. With Serious Level Designer you can create levels either by yourself or you can work collaboratively with other game developers on the same level at the same time. Serious Level Designer also allows you to adapt to the format of your video game through the use of dynamic plugins. Alternatively, you can use the provided game development library as a basis for creating your own video game instead of trying to integrate your video game with Serious Level Designer. |
