ABSTRACT There are two main types of diabetes; diabetes type one and diabetes type two. To efficiently manage both the types of diabetes it is important to manage a healthy diet, proper exercise, appropriate medication and low blood sugar levels (between 5-7 mmol/L). It is important for a diabetic patient to check and record the blood sugar level daily along with other important information such as food intake and exercise. If all this valuable information is on a piece of paper then it is not possible to do different analysis on readings recorded efficiently to find important information regarding the condition of the patient. If the same information can be recorded on a mobile device then analysis on this important information becomes much more efficient and easier for doctors/patients. |
