Carleton University - School of Computer Science Undergraduate Honours Project Winter 2012 Testing of AntRouter a Point-to-Point Ant Colony Optimization Based Network Router & Creation of an Ant Colony Optimization Based Multicast Network Traffic Optimizer Andrew Tubman
ABSTRACT The first section of this report covers AntRouter an ant colony optimization based network load balancer created in a previous project by Jimin Park. AntRouter is examined and tools developed to test its effectiveness. The design and implementation of the tools are discussed and the tools are to evaluate AntRouter. The Second portion of this project takes AntRouters base code and modifies it to route multicast traffic efficiently. The changes needs are documented and discussed. In addition, light testing is done to illustrate its effectiveness. |
