Carleton University - School of Computer Science Undergraduate Honours Project Summer 2011 Analysis of IPv6 ND Security Issues based on OMNET++ Framework Fan Zhang
ABSTRACT NDP (Neighbor Discovery Protocol) is an important part of IPv6 protocol, it combines the ARP protocol, ICMP router discovery and ICMP redirect functions of IPv4. This paper simulates four different NDP attacks which are noticed in the RFC3756 document. By using the OMNET++ simulation framework, the detailed analysis of these attacks is presented by a series of message sequence charts. |
