   - An Active SCS Windows Account
   - A Campus Card with Funds - http://www.carleton.ca/campuscard/

==== Cost ====

SCS charges 9 cents per page.

==== Instructions ====

   - Print your file from any SCS Vista Workstation 
   - Go to one of the printer release stations ((TIP: Check the printer display for any errors and check for a printer jam before you pay for your print job)):
      * 3341HP - Open to all students.
      * 4125HP - Open to BCS and MCS students only.
      * 4175HP - Open to Sr. BCS and MCS students only.
   - Swipe your Campus Card ((TIP: Swipe card with magnetic strip facing you))     
   - Select your print job from the printer queue ((TIP: You can select more than one job by right clicking on the track ball))
   - Click Release Print Jobs on the release station. 
   - Click the PRINT button
   - Make sure to click on EXIT so the money on your card is not accessible after you exit.
   - Pick up your print job

==== Adding a lab printer to your Windows account ====

This document will show how you can add a lab printer to your Windows workstation. Please note that all the lab machines are already configured to print to a lab printer.

In order to add a lab printer you will need the following:

    * An SCS Windows Account (Lab Account)
    * Administrator Privileges on your Win machine
    * You must be on the SCS subnet (ethernet or wireless)

Add a printer network printer: START - Settings - Printers and Faxes then select "Add Printer". Choose "Next" and select "Network Printer". The following windows will appear:

For the **Name** enter <code>\\PRINTSRVII\scsprinters</code> and then you will be prompted for a username and password. For the "User name" enter "SCSNET3\" followed by your SCS account name. Also enter your SCS account name password. Press "Ok" and then you have added an SCS lab printer to your windows machine.
