SCS Email Upgrade Information
The SCS technical Staff have upgraded the SCS email server. The new email server will has:
- larger inbox size (1 GB)
- better spam protection
- two webmail clients

You cannot read your davinci mail using the new Web Mail client (RoundCube and the new Horde IMP)
Moving mail folders from daVinci
Your saved mail is stored in your linux home directory under the mail folder. Your old account files are accessible on quest.scs.carleton.ca and you need to move that folder to your new account on access.scs.carleton.ca .
quest is no longer accessible from outside of SCS. If you require to access your old account you can ssh to access and then from access.scs.carleton.ca ssh to quest.
You copy the folder as follows:
[jdoe@quest ~]$ scp -r mail access:
Once you connect to mail.scs.carleton.ca you can then import your mail folders from your home directory.
