Please check the General Settings for the SCS Email for location specific settings.
If you are setting up a new Outlook installation, it will automatically ask you for account information. Otherwise, navigate the menu to find the new account button:
Tools->Options->Mail Setup->Email Accounts->New
Make sure the option 'Manually configure server settings or additional server types' is checked

Enter your email account information in the Internet Email Settings. Then click 'More Settingsā¦'

On the Outgoing Server tab, check the 'My outgoing server requires authentication' checkbox

If you are setting up email outside of SCS, make sure to change the settings on the Advanced Tab
