ABSTRACT

Handling pressure and stress is an essential skill requirement for the urban population. Both mind and body try to manage this stress; however, it can show its damaging implications in the sleep behaviours of the individual. Therefore, it is very common to feel unrested in the morning, even if it is after a sufficient amount of sleep. There has been many research studies performed on the subject of sleep behaviours, which has broaden the amount of knowledge on this subject. There are a few commercial products in the market that monitor the individuals sleep and will insure an awaking at the proper time. We are developing a new package which captures movements during the sleep using different sensors. Using the data collected, it will analyze the best time that the individual has slept an adequate amount and should be awakened.
