ABSTRACT Human face modeling is one of the most challenging topics in computer animation. In this Presentation, an efficient method will be introduced to make individual faces for animation from several different formatted inputs. The Proposed method is to reconstruct a 3D facial model for animation from front of range data obtained from some available resources like Cyberware laser scanner and publically available face database. A photo-cloning method to recover missing parts like back of heads and it is based on extracting features on a face in a semiautomatic way and modifying a generic model with them. Then a fine mesh modification method follows to extract the fine details from the available range data. Automatic texture mapping will be employed using a composed image from the two images if available. The reconstructed 3D face would be animated immediately with given expression parameters.
