Current Research

Dr. Lanthier’s research interests focus on robotics, artificial life and computational geometry.  He has worked with numerous students on research projects involving robotic simulation and coordination, robotic path planning and robotic sensing and design.

Biography

Dr. Lanthier has long history at Carleton University. Receiving first his undergraduate degree from the School of Computer Science,  he then continued on at the University to receive his master’s degree in 1993 and his Ph.D. in 1999. He began teaching at Carleton as an instructor in 1997 and has been an assistant professor at the university since 2000.
