This lab supports research activities on the relationship between computation and communication arising in dynamic and distributed settings: distributed computing, network computing, mobile agents, computing, autonomous mobile robots, mobile sensor networks, cellular automata, peer to peer networks, etc. Directed by Professor Santoro, the Lab provides a Linux-based research and working environment for six PhD students, as well as visiting postdocs and researchers. Since January 2006, it is part of the international research network "Dynamic Communication Networks: Foundation and Algorithms" (DYNAMO), a EEC-funded consortium of 38 university and research loboratories.
