PARADIGM (originally standing for PARAllel DIGital Modeling) is leading the project on parallel and distributed spatial modelling within NCE GEOIDE (Geomatics for Informed Decision) and interacts with other universities across the country to find efficient solutions to GIS problems. We also play a key role in HPCVL (High Performance Computing Virtual Laboratory) as one of the four member universities, in particular due to the number of computer scientists PARADIGM and Carleton bring into HPCVL.
