In the 2007-2008 Undergraduate Calendar, the School of Computer Science has made stream improvements to offer students more flexibility.
Tips about changing to a new stream from the curriculum-chair
Review the changes to your specific stream:
Specialization-changes
Network Computing Stream
Information Systems Security Stream
Software and Computing Stream
Software Engineering Stream
Computer Game Development Stream (New Program 2007 Fall-no changes)
Multidisciplinary-changes
Biomedical Computing Stream
Management & Business Systems Stream
Law Stream Changes
Psychology Stream
Students already in-program, will have the option to move into the new requirements at any time during the course of their studies, if they feel it will benefit them.
A special "Change of Program Request" form is only available from the Undergraduate Advisor in the School of Computer Science, Room 5326, Herzberg Laboratories. This cannot be done on line. Anyone wishing to move for the Fall 2007 term, must complete the form by mid April. The Registrar's Office will be processing the completed forms in May and students will not see the new requirements on their audits until early June.
Please note, if you move into the 2007-2008 Calendar requirements, you cannot move back to your original Calendar year requirements.
If you have an immediate question or concern, please see the Undergraduate Advisor Joni Campbell in room HP5326.
