Degree Information
A Computer Science Degree provides a comprehensive education in the fundamentals of computer science and software engineering while allowing you to explore and experiment with the latest computer systems and applications. You will learn the principles that will help you adapt to changing technology, while learning the required skills for becoming a practising software engineer.
Honours Degree The computer science honours program is organized into ten streams, four multidisciplinary streams and six streams offering specializations in important concentrations of computer science. All streams share a common core program that has been approved by the Canadian Computer Science Accreditation Council (CSAC).
Major Degree For those desiring a somewhat less rigorous program and opportunities for greater breadth, the School also offers a four-year 20-credit Major degree.
Minors As technology evolves and expands, so does the need for IT specialists. High tech workers who have combined their skills in computer science with knowledge in other areas of study have a distinct advantage in finding jobs. Visit the Undergraduate Calendar for a complete list of minor options.
